This month Candor had his first 'friend' sleepover. Candor met his friend Amity at the park to play one afternoon. Before they left Amity asked Candor if he would like her little unicorn named Alika to spend the night with him. Candor happily agreed and kept very good care of her all night.
His class has had some really cute things to say this month.
Candor said 'police car' (of course) and 'bike'.
'When my mom gives me snacks' is what makes Candor happy. Ha! If something as simple as snacks would always make him happy in life that would be wonderful.
Candor said that reindeer fly with 'magic'. We had many a conversation about this particular topic this month so I suppose he listened to me.
He still loves playing family. In the below picture Candor and Shayne were the mom and dad and Luke was their kid. It was night time and they were all sleeping.
He has really been into building his Hot Wheel track and it is getting more and more intricate.
On a few Mommy Candor date days we have met Tara and Jake at couple of different libraries to do the scavenger hunt. They have to hunt around the library to find different objects. Jake and Candor get really into it.
If they find all of the objects they get a prize from the librarian.
Arby hadn't been to see us in a long time and one afternoon Candor asked that we call him and ask him to come and visit us. We called and the next day Arby showed up! Candor was so excited to see him. **Arby - we are hoping you read this and come visit us again this week!!**
Todd taught him how to eat pizza without getting so messy by holding the paper plate and the edge of the crust. I am pretty happy about this as there is a lot less cleanup for me!
One afternoon we went to the zoo and randomly Candor said Hello to one of the birds there. It immediately said Hello back. Candor could not believe it! We then discovered he could also say Goodbye. Candor was so amazed and kept saying that he didn't know birds could talk!
He has gotten really good at posing for pictures and requests me take his photo when he thinks he looks particularly cool.
It has been a fabulous month and I hope this big smile is around your whole 54th month my sweet bubs.
