37 Months! (Candor)

My little love bug is now 37 months old! He has really grown up this month.  He goes to children's time at church by himself, he happily tells me bye at school when I drop him off, and when we go on play-dates or to the park he would rather play with his buddies than with us.  It is bitter sweet.  I'm happy he is becoming an independent little man but don't forget about your dear sweet momma!! He has become a big fan of playing with play dough.  He passed out on the couch by himself for the very first time in his life.  He loves helping Todd work.  Here they are putting a kick plate on the door.  He played his first keyboard.  He has gotten really good at hide and seek.  Can you find him in the below picture??  He has started naming his toy people.  Here you have Larry in the front and Max in the back.  He has started unzipping his PJ's a bit because he says the zipper bugs him. I fear he...

2017-2018 First Day of School (Candor)

Candor had a two week break from school before the 2017-2018 school year began.  He was very excited to go back and see all his friends and Ms. Suzi.  This year he will be going on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-2.  He has been leaving at 1 but since he has dropped his nap I signed him for stay'n'play from 1-2.  He has been loving it! Ms. Suzi is going to have her hands full with him this year if this is how he acts at school!

4 Month Visit With Dr. D. (Townes)

Townes had a great 4 month visit with Dr. D.  He weighs a whopping 18lbs 5oz and is 25 1/2 inches tall.  He is a beast! Townes was so happy and friendly to Dr. D. that he said Townes needed to be in a commercial advertising his practice. Townes got an oral vaccination and two shot vaccinations.  He loved the oral medicine and wasn't a big fan of the shots but he did get two super cool band-aids!

4 Months! (Townes)

My sweet little giant is now 4 months old! I told Townes how old he was and he was in utter shock. He then had a complete meltdown. I told him that I had 445 months on him and he was way too young to be crying about his age. Townes has had an awesome month.  He has done lots and lots of tummy time.   You know what they say....tummy time is always better with a buddy. We have been on many play-dates. He has been practicing standing. He can ride in the stroller like a big boy with his brother.  Him and Candor both love to ride together. On Townes first ride Candor held his hand so he wouldn't be scared.  It literally melted my heart. He can fit into the bike carrier.  We will give him a few more months before we actually let him ride in it.  The below picture below cracks me up.  They are both looking at me like MOMMA, QUIT TAKING OUR PICTURE. He loves going to the Brentwood Social House with his buddy Holli...
