Candor goes to Townes

A few weeks ago Candor started summer school at his preschool. He has had an absolute blast so far.  Ms. Suzy is his teacher and Candor is still so smitten with her. Jake is the only other boy in the room and there are 4 little girls (Amity, Grace, Liza, and Bryn).  Every morning when Jake and Candor see each other they squeal and hug.  They then run straight to the trucks and get to playing. Townes is normally napping when it is time to pick up Candor in the afternoon.  It is so hot outside I let Candor climb in on his side of the car, I run and put Townes in, and then run back to Candor's side to buckle him up.  No matter how many times I tell Candor to let Townes sleep by the time I get back to Candor's side this is what I see.

We finally made it to church as a family of four! Here we are about to enter.... Watch out! We got there about 5 minutes early.  Everyone came over to see Townes and he just smiled and smiled.  Church started at 11:00.  At 11:02 Townes starts crying...no lie.  What the heck?!?! I would have been so flustered but Todd calmly took Townes out and held him and then fed him. After Townes ate he burped so loud!  It was so funny and everyone around started laughing.  Townes then went to sleep and snored so loud the remainder of church.  Haha.  We were loud and sort of a hot mess but we made it!

Candor Man is 35 months old!?! He is so curious these days!  He wants to know what everything is and what everything says. Whenever we see anyone he will ask loudy 'What are those guys (doesn't matter if a male or female) doing?".  He is also not quite sure how to use his, her, he or she correctly but we are working on that. Candor also got his first kiss on the lips?!?!  Soon after this picture was taken Shayne (the little girl pictured beside him below) planted a big kiss on Candor's lips!  Sigh....I bet that was the first of many kisses to come. I suppose Candor enjoyed the kiss because a few days later Candor invited Shayne over for a romantic lunch of goldfish and then to draw on his chalkboard wall. He always asks me to take selfies with him. I taught him how to vacuum.  WINNING! Todd's big rig had some issues so we had to call the tow truck to come to the house to pick it up.  Candor was so excited! ...

This week we took Townes in for his 2 month visit with Dr. D. He weighed in at 14lbs 12 oz and is 24inches tall. Townes got a little hungry as Dr. D. is always a bit late coming into the room. Townes got two shots at the appointment and was pooped from crying by the time we got home.  

Our smallest little bubba is now 2 months old! He is becoming such a fun little guy.  He loves when anyone talks to him.  He just laughs and coos up a storm. He loves to take baths.  Look at all his rolls!  Don't you just want to eat him up?!?! Todd took Townes to Juiceland for the first time.  I wonder if when he gets older he will drink a Homerun sub blueberries for strawberries too? He is starting to make some friends!  Below is him and his buddies Everett and Hollis.  Townes is only a month older than both of them but is so much bigger!  At one month Everett and Hollis weighed less than Townes weighed at birth.  So that means......I could have literally birthed a one month old.  He got to snapchat for the first time!  He wore shades for the first time.
