Mother's Day 2019

I had an absolutely perfect Mother's Day! I started out the weekend with the most precious Mother's Day Tea at the boys preschool.  All the moms arrived at the school about 10 minutes before the program started.  Once the students started walking in Townes spotted me and ran and jumped in my lap.  He then decided he would forgo the singing and stay with me instead.  I was able to snap the below picture before being spotted.   Candor was super pumped when he saw me as well.  He gave me a huge smile and wave.  Man - those two little dudes melt my heart!    Candor and all his buddies did a great job singing.  Their favorite song, as it is every year, was '5 Little Hotdogs Frying in a Pan'.  It is the cutest song. After the singing we all had cookies and punch and they showered me with gifts and hugs.  Candor made me the below.  I loved it so much I wasn't even offended that he thinks I am...

Townes' 2nd Big One

On Saturday, April 27 we had Townes' 2nd birthday party!   His party was fiesta themed.  We had tacos, chips, salsa, cupcakes and a bouncy house! Townes absolutely loved every second of his party and was SOOO excited when all his friends started showing up.   Townes also really loved when everyone sang him Happy Birthday.  He and Candor then proceeded to down about 5 cupcakes a piece while I wasn't looking! Happy Birthday my sweet boy.  You are the best 2 year old in the world!

Glorietta

Florio came to Townes' birthday party and gave the boys their Christmas album.  Townes was not too thrilled but he will think different once he listens to the album. This year he gave them Glorietta.   Florio is the very best!

2 Year Visit With Dr. D (Townes)

Townes had a great 2 year visit with Dr. D.  He weighed in at 31 pounds and is 35.5 inches tall.  Townes and Dr. D. got along quite well even though the entire appointment Townes kept telling him he was ready to go home.  Dr. D. said, "I understand buddy, I want to go home too!". Dr. D. made a lasting impression on Townes, however, because when we got home the rest of the afternoon he pretended like he was a doctor! We will see you again when Townes is 3 Dr. D.!
