2018 CUMP Class Pictures (Candor)

Candor's preschool had class and school photos made recently.  We just received them in and is he not the most beautiful little person you have ever seen?!?! The below picture is Candor and his class. Top Row : Sandilya:  Sandilya just started this year and did not speak any English.  Ms. Suzi said that he is slowly learning English and anytime Sandilya says something Candor gets all excited and says Sandilya I'm so proud of you.  You said (insert whatever word he said).  Ms. Suzi also said that Candor and his class are so caring and sweet and they always include Sandilya in everything they do. Ms. Suzi:  I cannot say enough great things about Ms. Suzi.  She is the one of the sweetest most caring people I know.  Candor loves her so much and cannot wait to see her everyday he goes to school.   Bottom Row: Grace AKA Gracie:  Gracie is a sweet little girl who has the most gorgeous hair.  Her mom told me ...

44 Months! (Candor)

My little ham is 44 Months old! He is so happy all of the time and has the best little personality.  He is also the sweetest little thing.  He is constantly telling me he loves me and giving me kisses and hugs.  He loves hanging with his buds but also loves hanging with his mommy, daddy, and Townes.  He is also just beautiful.  I mean, look at that face?! He had to get a little upkeep this month by getting his teeth cleaned and his hair cut.  He was the perfect angel at both appointments. His favorite thing he got to do this month was go to this amazing new park in Round Rock with Jake.  It was the most incredible place I have ever seen.  They had so tons of playground equipment, a race track built just for bikes, sand pits, and so much more.  I have never seen anything quite like it. Shayne tried to teach him how to put on his own shoes.  I personally think he can do it (and pretty much everything else)...

11 Months! (Townes)

Townes man is now 11 months old! This month Townes learned to crawl up stairs.  He can climb a whole flight of stairs in about 2 seconds.  Lord help me. He has grown to love the playscape at the park.  You can see in his eyes that he cannot wait to be able to run around like the bigger kids.  Soon sweet one soon. He found his reflection in the oven and loves to talk and laugh at himself. He is dying to eat at the big table with his brother.  I sometimes let him sit there and have his snack while hovering close by. He loves being outside and when he is not outside he is constantly looking out the windows dreaming about being outside. Todd took him to the Lego store for the first time and he loved playing around with the big boys there. He and Candor also did lots of playing and were up to no good most of the time. I mean really.....how did they get into this position?!?!  I'm not sure how it ended b...

Send Help!

Keeping a baby and a toddler alive and happy on a day to day basis is hard work but taking care of 2 littles when they are both sick ranks right up there as one of the worst things I have had to do.  It is both mentally and physically draining. The week started off with a bang....literally.  On Sunday afternoon Townes, Todd, and Candor were playing around on the big bed when all of a sudden Townes went tumbling off the bed and hit his head hard on the sharp edge of my nightstand.  It was Townes' first real accident.  There was blood and tears galore. Monday we headed downtown to ride the Zilker Zephyr and play on the playground.  It had been rainy and gloomy in Austin for weeks but the sun decided to come out and shine in all its glory.   I, of course, did not think to bring sunscreen and Townes' fresh baby skin got sunburned. I felt horrible.  How could I have let this happen to my little bubba!  The only spot he did not get ...
