33 Months!

Our little Batman is now 33 months old! He is back to wearing pajamas.  He especially loves wearing his Batman pj's. He now says... 'mommy you my best friend'.  He says it most when he wants something or doesn't want to go to sleep.  He is already a very good manipulator at 2 years old! When it is mommy night (the night I do bath / bed) he tells todd... 'daddy don't play with my cool toys' as we are going upstairs.  I guess he thinks we sit around and play with all his toys while he is asleep.  Haha. He has also been practicing up on his photographer skills.  The other day we went to Phil's Ice House. First I took his picture with his head in the cow. It was then my turn to put my head in the cow and he took my picture.  How beautiful am I?!?!

Parent Teacher Conference

School is almost out for the year so we had our final Parent Teacher Conference with Ms. April. She said... Candor's vocabulary has grown so much since the beginning of the year.  He has also started to venture out of his typical activities of trucks and cars and into other activities like playing in the kitchen area and swinging outside.  His favorite activity outside is still the sandbox and the trucks.  He likes to crash cars with his friends.  The boys will pile up the pillows so they can run across the room and fall on them.  Candor loves for me to watch him do things "April, watch this..." and play in the sandbox with him.  He continues to bring joy and positive energy into the classroom.

Easter 2017

Candor had another successful Easter! We kicked off the Easter season by decorating our windows. We then decided to take a trip to see the Easter Bunny.  Candor was so excited to see the bunny and practiced smiling before we left. Once we got to the Easter bunny he had a change of attitude.  He said.. No Mommy.  I don't want to sit in his lap. I said well let's not do it!  We then just picked out a new toy on the way out.  The toy cost me all of $9.00 and the pictures would have cost a minimum of $40.00.  Those pictures are so overpriced.  Win Win! In the afternoons leading up to Easter I would hide eggs around the house and Candor would find them.  When Candor had his Easter Egg hunt at school Ms. April said Candor did really well and told her that Mommy hide eggs at home too.  On Easter morning Candor had gifts from the Easter Bunny (yes those are Blaze and the Monster Machine undies) as well as from G & Papa an...

Mommy I made my own shower!!

The past few weeks Candor and I have been playing late into the afternoon in the backyard/sandbox or at the park.  When we come in we are filthy so we have been jumping in the shower before dinner time.  Candor loves taking a shower and it is so much easier than giving him a bath....plus I get cleaned too! Tonight we hopped in the shower and all of a sudden I hear him screaming.....Mommy Mommy I made my own shower!!!! I said what??? He pointed down and I looked and he was peeing and screamed again...I'M MAKING MY OWN SHOWER!!! He is such a goofball. Now if he could just make his own shower in the potty.

32 Months!

Our little booger is now 32 months old! This month he has learned how to help Todd with laundry.  They move about the same pace. He got to go into a store and pick out his very first candy all by himself.  He chose a bag of peanut M&M's.  He was so excited.  When he got home he ate every single one and forcefully told Todd and I NO when we asked for one. He still loves school.  This is a bulletin board of all the Toddlers.  He loves to look at it and name everyone. The other day we went to Top Notch and ordered some food to go.  Candor's kids meal came in this truck.  He now only wants to eat when his food is in this truck. He loves randomly running into Arby at coffee shops and taking selfies with him. He loves having play dates with his buddy Shayne. I think some days Candor gets tired of hanging with Todd and I so he likes to get in a quiet spot and watch his IPad. The funniest thing this...
