Candor goes to Townes

AK and I met up for a little shopping on Thursday.  Candor doesn't look very excited to see AK.  He is probably thinking that every time she is around something is put on my head. 5 minutes later - this happens... Candor is actually not mad about this hat as he thinks GUB always wears the coolest hats and wants to be just like him!

This morning was the Cowboy Breakfast in Austin!  The Cowboy Breakfast includes breakfast tacos, catfish toes, sausage wraps, biscuits and gravy, coffee, hot chocolate, live music, and face painting. All of this for free!  Candor was dying to go experience his first Cowboy Breakfast and Todd and I were dying to go for a run so we set our alarm to go off at 4AM this morning. Since we had to get up so early this morning, Candor, of course, decided he wanted to stay up late last night.  We rocked, we sang, we put him in his crib, his swing, and finally we decided to put him in our bed. 5 minutes after he got in bed with us all I could hear was continuous snores.  Loud snores from Todd and baby snores from Candor.  It's tough living with 2 men in the house.  When the alarm went off at 4 this is what Candor looked liked.  Why can't he look so sweet and asleep at night?!?! He is thinking... 'Momma - It's 4AM!  Why am I up and stuffed...

Lately Candor is not to be trusted.  I can sit him on the floor with 20 of his favorite toys and the next thing I know he is trying to stick his finger in the wall socket or banging on the door stopper.  I have had to take drastic measures and place him in jail when I can't give him my full attention. Watching his Mr. Monkey Man Video.   Even in jail he goes after the one thing he shouldn't....the tag! Even though he is a trouble maker he is a beautiful trouble maker.

I CANNOT believe it!!  Candor is already 7 months old!!  Is he not the most beautiful human  you have ever seen in your life??

Uncle Tio Arby presented Candor with his favorite book!  The book is called 'The Monster at the End of this Book'.  Candor loves it and asks me to read it to him EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

Last week Todd went with us to swim lessons.  Candor went under for 4 seconds and Todd was so stinking proud of him! This week Candor went under for 5 seconds.  Ms Amanda said that the next few weeks we will stick to 5 seconds.  His new goal is to begin swimming to me while he is under the water. He was so tired when we got home that I just brought his car seat up to his room so I would not disturb him.

A lot of things have been going on lately but blogging has not been one of them!  See below for some of the highlights! Spectating the Austin Marathon: Dinner with Paul, Meredith, Justin, & Jean Marie: Todd in a UHAUL: Lounging in bed with playing with phones and teething toys: AK and I found the one thing that makes Candor look tiny.  A huge stage! At Callahan's General Store with AK pretending like we are cowboys: Candor mad at me for taking a picture of him while he is trying to sleep.... IN MY BED! Somewhat enjoying bananas: Friday lunch date with Todd: Candor now sits up in the tub and plays with his 1 million toys during bath time. Breakfast at Maria's Taco Express: Hanging with AB and AK while Todd and I went to a movie. Hanging at the car place while AK and I get our Inspection Stickers updated. Look!!!!  2 TEETH!! Candor now likes to dig through his toy...
