Candor goes to Townes

Townes had a great 1 year visit with Dr. D.! He weighed in at 25lbs 3oz. and was 31inches long.  He was in the 85th percentile for everything (height, weight, head).  That means we are now back on the charts for weight instead of off the charts!  He had gained less than a pound since his 9 month visit.  Dr. D. said that was good as he was on giant status.  Ha!  See you again at 15 months Dr. D.!

My littlest bubba is now 12 months old! This month we had lots of play-dates with Navy and AK.  First we went to the Thinkery.  This is the first time Townes and Navy both went where they were able to really move around the baby room.  They loved it! We all went to the aquarium.  It was so much fun. We hit up the pool in Lakeway. Well, to be honest Candor is the only one that swam.  We just lounged on the edge because the water is still way too cold! Lastly, we went to this new place called Loco-Motion.  Townes rode his little orange McLaren all over Crestview. He has started waving at the cars that are passing by.  It is the cutest thing. My dear sweet beautiful baby boy.  Today you turned 1!  We had a wonderful day celebrating you.  Candor and I woke you up around 7:30 singing you Happy Birthday!  You were so happy to see us. After breakfast (milk and a waffle) we dropped Candor off at school and then I got to spend the next few hours with just you!  We did some shopping for your upcoming birthday party and then sat around and played with your toys.  You then took a nap and I sat and stared at your beautiful sweet face. After your nap we picked Candor up from school and headed downtown to meet daddy for your birthday dinner at Maudies.  You had a blast. My little love bug is now 45 months old! This month he wore boxer briefs for the very first time in his life and loved them.  I think he loved them because he finally had underwear like his daddy.  Ms. Suzy said he showed them to her at school and kept rubbing his leg talking about how cool and soft they were.  He was so proud. He went to the big boy Sunday School class for the first time.  He had so much fun.  During class they watch a video clip, discuss the topic, and then do an art.    He had his first bike wreck.  Actually, he had his first and second bike wreck all in one day.  The first one his bike tire clipped the stroller tire and he went flying on the road while we were on our way to Juiceland.  He immediately started crying which then made Townes start crying.  I then spent the next 5 minutes sitting on the curb with my two bubbas in my lap trying to calm everyone down.
