Candor goes to Townes

All the Joneses went on vacation earlier this summer to Florida!  We had a blast and can't wait to go again. Candor had to wake up at 3AM so we could make it to the airport on time for our flight.  He was pretty chipper to be up so early. Candor got to ride on the airplane for the first time.  We packed new cars, books, stickers, and downloaded videos to keep him entertained for the 3 hour flight.  He did pretty well but left some room for improvement.  We got a minivan rental.  Candor LOVED all the room in it. We spent the first couple of days in Stuart, Florida at Todd's friend Tim's house.  It was fun to catch up with Tim, Jordan, Maddie and Jack. Swimming in Tim's pool. Candor started his first day at his new preschool.  His class are the sunshines! He loves his teacher, Ms. Sunny, and all his classmates.  This summer he has 3 other kids in his class. A little boy named Jacob and two little girls named Grace and Bryn.  Candor will going to school 3 days a week from 9-1.  There is no nap time at his new school so that is a relief for everyone.  We get home around 1:05 after school and he is asleep in his crib by 1:07 at the latest.  He then sleeps until 3 like clockwork. Candor's has his own little cubby at school with his picture.  He puts his lunch box in the cubby everyday. They will be studying a new subject each week. Candor man is 23 months old.  Next month he will be 2.  I can't believe it! He now likes to eat watermelon and oatmeal. At times the oatmeal can get a bit messy but if he will eat it .... I will gladly clean up the mess...every single morning.... He loves going to the library and checking out books. He loves reading books especially right before bed time.  Sometimes he even likes to sneak in a quick book before bath time. He loves filling up his backpack with toys to take with him before we go anywhere. He loves being silly and hiding from you. He still likes being behind the wheel. He loves shopping at the man store buying man things. He love swim parties. Candor even got his first hair cut this month.  We didn't want to go somewhere and they cut off all his precious locks so Todd ordered some clippers, scissors, watched a few YouTube videos and actually gave him a nice trim!
