Remember last month when I mentioned Townes' monthly pictures were almost impossible to take?? Well, that has not changed one bit.
I finally had to sneak the sign into his crib when he was napping.
Townes has had a pretty great 20th month. His big task he tried to perfect was doing a thumbs up. He gets so frustrated when he can't make his thumb go up while the rest of his fingers go down. He is a persistent little booger so I'm sure he will have this down pat soon.
He still loves puppies and likes pretending like he is one. We made him a little dog bed out of a box and he loved sitting in it with all his puppies.
He mastered swinging on his belly. Candor and all his buddies do this at the park and Townes is tickled to death to be able to do this with them.
Candor's buddy Jake had his birthday party at the Austin Nature Science Center and Townes got to go. They did a little animal show which he enjoyed...
but his favorite thing to do was sit at the table for lunch and cake with all the big kids.
He despises his high-chair and refuses to ever sit in it anymore. One day Candor was playing around and said he wanted to sit in the chair. Once Candor was in the chair Townes lost it and was saying 'My Chair!! My Chair!!'.
Townes also still loves pretending like he is driving a race car. Below he is waiting on his food at Hopdoddy while loudly pretending to drive.
The months keep passing by in the blink of an eye and I'm trying to savor each second with my precious little bubs.
Watch out month 21. Townes is coming at you with a big THUMBS UP!
