Out of all of Candor's birthday parties his 4th Big 1 topped the list.

The party was set to begin at 10:00 and at 9:23 I got the below alert. Record breaking temperatures of 106 degrees?!?! Good thing it was a water party!
The planning was fun, the decorating was fun and the party was an absolute blast. For months Candor kept telling me he wanted to have a police birthday party, a police pinata and cookies with his face on them so that is exactly what he got.
He picked out all his decorations, helped me decorate, and stuffed the pinata. He had so much fun and it made the whole month of July so exciting leading up to the big day.
When his decorations arrived in the mail he was so excited. He checked them all out making sure we received everything we ordered.

He had lots of fun stuffing his pinata. He asked for no candy and just tiny toys for the filling. While he was busy working he told me all about how he was going to be the first one to hit the pinata because he was the birthday boy.

Todd, Candor, and Townes ensured the pinata rope was the correct length by using one of Todd's shoes. They all thought this was so funny.
Spreading mulch around the yard to make sure everything looked in tip top shape.
After weeks of preparation the weekend of the party finally arrived. The day before the big day Todd took Candor to get his hair trimmed so he would look sharp..as he likes to say.

After receiving the alert we finished up the final touches and then sat back and waited for the guests to arrive.
Pa Pa, Todd and Pop Pop are relaxing because they know soon enough 20+ tiny people are about to come blasting through the doors.
At 10:00 the party officially began. Kids were everywhere and Candor kept running around screaming, "I'm having a water party!!!!". He was so cute and excited to have all his buddies at his house.
Nana and I are cracking up here because as soon as I picked up Adeline Townes was giving her and everyone the stink eye. He was not pleased I had another baby in my arms.
Travis, Molly, and Adeline even drove from Richardson to help Candor celebrate the big day.
After playing for an hour it was cupcake time. All the kids gathered around the table and sang Happy Birthday. It was so sweet.
Finally pinata time! Candor was first in line and then the others followed suit. The pinata was tough as nails. After about 15 minutes of the kids trying to bust it Todd took a huge swing at it and didn't even make a dent. Todd finally ripped it open and all the kids ran around gathering up the toys.
After the party ended and the last guest left it was present time!
The rest of the day we got to hang out with Molly, Travis, and Adeline. All the cousins had so much fun.
They even got to take their first cousin bath! Adeline probably didn't know what to think taking a bath with my two crazy bubbas.
On Sunday Candor took the money that Aunt Joy gave him and bought some police Legos from the Lego store.
That Monday was his actual birthday. He woke up to lots of blue decorations
He loved it!
After breakfast we spent the remainder of the day playing in the house and then going to Little Land Play Gym. For supper we met Todd at Candor's favorite place.....P. Terry's. Candor ordered his standard french fries, ketchup, and a vanilla shake.
When we got home he blew out one more candle and ate one more cup cake.
Happy 4th birthday my sweet little Candor man!
