Candor goes to Townes

Todd took Candor to the MotoGP races at the Circuit of Americas.  They both had the time of their lives. They were super excited heading out for Day 1 of the races.  Despite a bit of rain they had an awesome first day. Ever since we went to the Rodeo Carnival and Candor discovered he wasn't afraid of heights he wants to climb everything.  They have a 251 feet observation tower that he wanted to go up so him and Todd went all the way to the top. It has glass floor so you can see all the way to the ground.  I would have panicked and my legs would have been paralyzed due to fear but Candor loved it. Todd bought Candor and Townes Valentino Rossi shirts on Day 1 so Candor wore his on Day 2.  He was so proud of it. They had these quad bikes (not sure if that is what you call these bad boys) that Candor loved sitting on.  Todd said he pretty much had to drag him off the bikes so they could go see the races. ...

We decided to take another trip to South Padre for Spring Break...well it was actually a week or two after spring break because two 'old' parents, a 3 year old, and an almost one year old do not belong on a beach with hundreds upon hundreds of college kids. Man, sometimes I cannot believe I'm almost 40 and have two babies.  Most days I still think I'm in my early 20's but then my body creaks when getting out of bed and then I look in the mirror and see a tired middle aged gal with sleepy eyes and the start of dare I say WRINKLES?!?!   Let me tell you my anti-wrinkle cream budget has went up over the past couple of months.  I digress... Once we decided we were going to go to South Padre we booked our same condo.  We can never go to South Padre and not stay in our condo with the Dory Room!  Candor was pumped and talked about everything he was going to pack for weeks leading up to the trip.  His list consisted of hot wheels, beach toys, the beach wa...

Candor and Townes had a great Easter.  They didn't particularly love the Easter Bunny but other than that it was amazing! We made the trip to see the Easter bunny the first of March.  Townes was scared out of his mind and Candor kept telling me he wanted to take the picture where we were standing in line (5 feet away from the bunny.).  However, for some reason I feel the need to take a picture AND buy them at every holiday so $35 later we have this!  Ha.  I love it though! At preschool, Candor's class had a big Easter Egg hunt and he said he had a blast and found SO MANY eggs.  Unfortunately, I have no pics.  Maybe Ms. Suzi will give me some at the end of the year. Easter weekend we headed to Horseshoe Bay with Pa Pa, G, Molly, Travis, and Adeline to celebrate Pa Pa's 70th birthday!  We all had a blast showering Pa Pa with love, playing, and swimming. Candor's preschool had class and school photos made recently.  We just received them in and is he not the most beautiful little person you have ever seen?!?! The below picture is Candor and his class. Top Row : Sandilya:  Sandilya just started this year and did not speak any English.  Ms. Suzi said that he is slowly learning English and anytime Sandilya says something Candor gets all excited and says Sandilya I'm so proud of you.  You said (insert whatever word he said).  Ms. Suzi also said that Candor and his class are so caring and sweet and they always include Sandilya in everything they do.
