Austin Rodeo Carnival

Ya'll.....we went to the Austin Rodeo Carnival for the first time and I think I have never had so much fun in my life!  Who knew?!?! A mom in my PIP group mentioned it awhile back and I forgot about it.  I randomly remembered about it last Saturday night around 9.  I then asked Todd if he wanted to skip church (FORGIVE US GOD!) and head to the Rodeo Carnival. He was totally in. On our way I had little hope that Candor would be brave enough to ride any of the rides but boy was I wrong.  He rode everything that he was tall enough to ride.  Townes had a blast too and laughed and laughed at Candor on the rides. Most of the rides Candor had to ride by himself but I did get to ride the below with him.  It went pretty high up in the air.  After the first spin he was so proud and said, "Mommy, I'm not afraid of heights anymore!!".  It was so sweet. Candor got to pick up ducks. Candor also had to use the porta p...

43 Months! (Candor)

Candor man is 43 months old! He had a busy but super awesome month.  He got another haircut.  Todd took the boys while I went and got my own hair cut.  They had a blast. Excited to be going on a man date with Townes and daddy! Messing around while waiting his turn. Todd said Candor was great and just sat there and chatted with Ms. Porsha while she cut his hair.  Cookie time!  It seems that cookie are always plentiful on their man dates. We discovered an awesome Little Library at a house down our street.  We stroll down once a week or so and return/get a new book. He peed on the side of the road for the first time!?!  Todd and I took the boys out for a run and in the middle of a neighborhood Candor said he had to pee and pee bad.  There was no time to spare so we took him to the side of the road and let him do his business. He had pajama day twice at school.  Candor was so pumpe...

10 Months! (Townes)

Townes is now 10 months old! This month he has started playing peek a boo.  He also started waving and literally has not stopped since.  He waves at everyone who will look at him whether in person or on FaceTime.  He also really enjoys waving at his own reflection.  His little personality is beginning to shine and let me tell you he is turning into quite the little ham. Townes and Candor have also started playing a bit together and not wanting me to play with them.  The below picture is the first time it actually happened.  I left them both in the living room and went and put up some towels.  When I got back they were nowhere to be found but I heard the faintest little giggles coming from the pantry.  I opened the door and Candor told me to shut the door that they were pretending to be puppies!  I was like What?!?!  You don't want me to play with you?!?!  To this day I'm not sure if that made me happy or sad.  I m...
