My little love muffin is now 16 months old!
He has developed quite the little personality. He knows what he wants and when he wants something he wants it IMMEDIATELY. A few new fun things he is doing are:
1) Some nights Todd and are I exhausted and when Candor wakes up in the middle of the night instead of staying up and rocking him we just bring him to bed with us. In the morning when he wakes he gets out of he bed himself, walks out of the room, and goes straight to the pantry where we keep his food. He then begins loudly making noises to let us know that he is ready for us to get up and feed him. I need to get a video of this one morning.
2) The other night while Todd was rocking Candor to sleep he texted me this... "We've created a monster. A warm, soft, super cuddly monster.". Todd is absolutely correct. Just recently Candor has decided that he only wants to sleep if he is touching one of us. Probably due to number one above. Anyway, his new trick is while we are rocking him to sleep he grabs our shirts for dear life. He does this in hopes that when we try to put him in the crib it will wake him.
It has been a bit of a struggle getting this little nugget in his crib especially during his day time naps. This has led to either me spending lots and lots of time rocking while he sleep or this...
Yes that is me...in his crib. I laid down with him in the crib and we napped together. It was actually heavenly for me to get a mid day nap in.
3) Candor knows that the office is off limits to him. Since he is not allowed in it is really really really hard for him to not go in there. He now likes to go in and shut the doors. He then presses his face in the glass with a little smirk on his face until I see him. What a little snake he is!
Candor is really keeping us on our toes and I have a feeling it is not going to get any easier.
