Candor goes to Townes

I love Halloween and I love Christmas.  I also love Thanksgiving time because it gives us a few weeks to reset from total Halloween mode to total Christmas mode.  As soon as the Halloween decorations came down the Christmas ones went up.  We then spent November looking at all the decor and just enjoying each other without the Christmas rush. The boys did some cute things at school for Thanksgiving.  All the kids had a hand in painting the below sign.  Each class then wrote what they were all thankful for and attached it to the sign. Candor's class also made the most adorable little wooden turkeys. Townes' class made some feather Indian hats.  Pa Pa and G came to Austin to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.  Todd cooked us some yummy food and we just hung out and played the rest of the time.  It was a great time. The sweetest little four you old you will ever meet is now 52 months old! His new things he tells me on a daily basis are.... 1)  "I'll never love another girl like you." 2)  "I'll never keep stop loving you. "  (Not sure why he throws in the 'keep' but I love it. I mean, how sweet is that?!?! This month his pretend play has stepped up to another level...if you can even believe that.  He now loves to play family.  24 hours a day we are pretending the family is watching car races, or driving around the neighborhood, or watching Candor play soccer or you name is the family is doing it and talking about it.   This month Candor also decided he did not wanted to be a police officer when he grows up.  Instead he wants to be a daddy like his daddy.  This is HUGE as Candor has wanted to be a police officer for about 2 years now.  Todd's heart melted when he heard this. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to be the mommy of my two little bubbas.  They are the sweetest, funniest, most beautiful, loving little people and they make my life so bright. I will love you two forever.
