Candor goes to Townes

My little monkey is 42 months old! Candor has loved dressing up this month.  He is constantly changing from being a police man, a fireman, a construction worker, a cowboy, and a mailman.  Whenever he is a construction worker he lays his cones out so no one will come into the work zone and injure themselves. Everyone follows the rules except for the tiny TX tornado that comes through every once in a while destroying all in his path.  Thank goodness the construction worker is very forgiving. He practiced writing, reading, and using scissors. His reading skills are pretty much looking at a book and making up a story.  He's pretty good and it and it is about the cutest thing ever. We went to a lot of birthday parties. He out grew all of his shoes so we had to buy more.  Here he is showing off his favorites.  We have about two sizes to go and then he will be no longer be in todder size...

Townes had an awesome nine month visit with Dr. D.  His appointment fell right in the midst of this horrible flu season we are having so I only got two pictures.  The rest of the time he was in my arms and I was using my incredible ninja skills by blocking him from touching anything! He weighed in at a whopping 24lbs 130z. and was 29inches long.  He was in the 70th percentile for height and was completely off the chart for weight.  Holy Moly!?!? Dr. D. said Townes was growing exceptionally well...obviously.  We won't go back until he is 1 year!  How is he already almost a year???

Townes man is 9 months old! This guy is a bundle of joy and a mile a minute.  If you recall last month he was crawling backwards.  Well this months things have changed.  One day when Candor was at school and Townes was playing in the living room I decided to use the restroom.  All of a sudden I hear some giggling and paws pounding on the floor and then I see this! He went directly to the speaker and then proceeds to stare and laugh at his reflection for the next 5 minutes.  Candor does this all the time with the stove and now Townes is doing it.  If I were as pretty as they were I would do it too. It is now a whole new world for Townes and he is taking full advantage of his new learned mobility.  He is now into everything and my head is spinning from chasing after these two all day everyday!
