22 Months

Our little muffin is now 22 months old!  He is the sweetest thing ever. He loves being with me alone or Todd alone but he is the happiest when we are all three together. If him and I start to go somewhere without Todd he will run to Todd and say 'dada dada dada', grab his hand and walk him to me. He will do the same to me except say 'momma, momma, momma' if him and Todd start to go somewhere without me. He does this when actually going somewhere or if we are even in separate rooms in the house.  He has a new love for 'Puppy'. One of Todds friends, Mark, got this for him for his first birthday. He didn't really pay him much notice until the past month or so. Now at night during his stories he will sit in our lap and hug Puppy. He also loves to cuddle him when he sleeps.  He still loves his little car that he got when he was 10 months old. I don't let him take it out often because he likes to drag his shoes on the road while we are walking and I don't ...

21 Months

Candor is 21 months old!   He loves bikes, the great outdoors, and playdough!

Meet the Frogs!

Candor's class took a group photo a few weeks ago.  I would like to introduce you to these little frogs! Front Row:  Kennedy, Abigail, Myles, Candor and Birdee Second Row:  Cora, Olive, Margaret, Cameron, Greyson, Ms. Maggie and Lia Third Row:  Ms. Lauris and Trevin Here is a tidbit about each: Kennedy is the ring leader of the group and hates napping as much as Candor hates napping.  The room has a baby gate so the children cannot get into the hall.  Once when Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris had there backs turned Kennedy gathered all the frogs, knocked down the baby gate, and then led them out into the hall into the bathroom.  When Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris turned around they were all gone! Abigail is one of the original ladies (along with Margaret).  Her and Margaret are the first one to arrive every morning.  They greet Candor at the door and help put his backpack up in his cubby.  Abigail also eats a large container ...

Monster Jam!

This weekend we went to see Monster Jam at the Frank Erwin Center. Candor has never sat so still in his life. He loved watching all the trucks. So much fun! About to leave the house. Monster trucks in tow.  Walking to the Frank Erwnin Center!  We have been practicing wearing our Baby Banz (ear protectors) all week with no success. Once he saw the other kids with theirs on - he decided he wanted to wear his! An extremely expensive snowcone that we bought so we could get a souvenir mug! Grave Digger! Best trip ever!

Toddler Storytime

Candor has graduated from Books & Babies to Toddler Storytime at the library.  He loves going. During class Ms. Cecelia (Candor's teacher) blows bubbles.  Then they read a few stories and sing a few songs.  When class is over they each get a stamp.  He loves getting his stamp each class.  After class we go to the children's section of the library for a few minutes to look at all the books.

Boys' Night

Todd goes and bowls with some friends once a month.  This month Candor got to go and hang with the boys.  He loved watching them bowl. After he was done watching them bowl we went and played some video games.
