Candor's class took a group photo a few weeks ago. I would like to introduce you to these little frogs!
Here is a tidbit about each:
Kennedy is the ring leader of the group and hates napping as much as Candor hates napping. The room has a baby gate so the children cannot get into the hall. Once when Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris had there backs turned Kennedy gathered all the frogs, knocked down the baby gate, and then led them out into the hall into the bathroom. When Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris turned around they were all gone!
Abigail is one of the original ladies (along with Margaret). Her and Margaret are the first one to arrive every morning. They greet Candor at the door and help put his backpack up in his cubby. Abigail also eats a large container of broccoli and pasta everyday. Her lunch makes Candor's lunch (2 juice packs and a waffle) look like slop! Abigail is also a secret pincher!
Myles is Candor's best buddy. As mentioned previously Candor likes to do whatever Myles does. Last week Myles, Abigail, and Candor got in trouble at lunch. Candor was chewing up apple slices. It seems he would only chew to get the juice out and then spit the rest out all over the table. Abigail poured apple sauce on the table (along with Candor's chewed up apple) and her and Candor started swirling the apple sauce around like they were painting. While all this was happening Myles was tossing his raisins across the room.
Candor......well if some other parent were writing this they would probably say Candor is a terrible napper, a terrible eater and is strangely obsessed with cars! They would also probably say he is the cutest/sweetest boy they have ever seen.
Birdee is the youngest of the rest of her siblings by many many years. She use to be very sad every morning when her mom would drop her off at school. I think she has gotten use to it now though!
Cora use to take care of Candor when he first started going and could not walk. She would stay back with him when they would go to and from playground to make sure he got to where he was going safely. Her fondness for him must have diminished over the course of the year because the other day Cora got angry and pushed everything in her way. Candor was one of her casualties. He was on a rocking horse and she slammed him to the ground. He needs to toughen up sooner or later!
Olive is Abigail's best friend. The other day they both wore matching jumpers (similar to the one shown in the photo). Unfortunately they were a little loose on the top and they both kept taking them off. Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris asked for them not to wear them anymore as they walked around naked half the day. Ha!
Margaret is the other original lady. She is always so sweet and quiet. I bet she is their dream student!
Cameron sometimes hangs with the boys and causes trouble with them!
Greyson and Candor are pretty good buddies. I see them every morning after I drop them off rolling trucks around with each other. They got in trouble the other day (along with Cameron) as they were both running back and forth across the room screaming.
Ms. Maggie is the sweetest teacher ever. Candor adores her. She took Candor under her wing when he first got there and now the only way Candor 'might' take a nap during nap time is if Ms. Maggie rocks him.
Lia is the youngest of the group and started a few months ago. Cora now takes care of Lia.
Ms. Lauris is hilarious and Candor is always laughing and cutting up with her. Ms. Lauris was the one who named Candor 'Wild Man'.
Trevin started out in the frogs and then moved back to the fish with Candor at the beginning of the year until they both learned how to walk. He hangs with Candor, Myles, and Greyson.
I'm going to seriously miss all these little faces and Ms. Maggie and Ms. Lauris when the school year is over!
