Unpacking

The day after we we moved all our belongings to our new home Todd left for a week to head to Alpharetta due to work. What the what?!?!  Fortunately Nana Katie and Poppy came to the rescue.  They cleaned, unpacked, put furniture together, watched Candor and pretty much kept me sane.  Todd and I cannot thank them enough! Candor watching Katie clean. Poppy and I put together this 700 lb bed.  It seriously took us 4 hours. Even though we worked our tails off we did slip in a little fun! Napping with poppy. Little Deli with Nana Katie. Sporting the new GP hat Poppy gave him. AK and AB invited us over to watch basketball and red beans and rice.  Stella was there so of course Candor had to do some flirting. Fashion show with the new shirts Poppy and Nana Katie got Candor. Poppy got the opportunity to dress Candor one morning so he picked the Baby Divided shirt he had made for him back when he was in my belly. ...

8 Months!

Candor's 8 month birthday fell on our second day in the house.  Unfortunately, I couldn't find the 'I Love Us' pillow that has made an appearance in all the other birthday photos.  It was hidden in one of our 52 packed boxes. G said at least I could find the baby and the chair...  I have to agree.

Peace Out Del Curto.....Hello Madison!

We finally moved!  Packing and unpacking (another blog) was so much work.  I never want to move again..  Candor was a trooper through it all. Candor watching his Monkey Man video while I pack boxes. Wearing his SXSW shirt because it is SXSW and because he is just cool. How do we have so much stuff?? Uncle Tio Arby stopped by to pose for a few photos and drop off sweets for our movers. Watching the movers closely so they don't break his swing or his toys. Hanging with Uncle Tio Arby at the new house while the movers unload.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

No pinches were given to this little leprechaun.

Xander Turns 3!

Xander turned 3 and invited Candor to his birthday party at the Jumping House.  It was so much fun. We played on all the jumping objects, played in the Infant Room, ate pizza, and I got to visit with many people from LIVE STRONG that I have not seen in quite a while.

Trying to be like GUB

AK and I met up for a little shopping on Thursday.  Candor doesn't look very excited to see AK.  He is probably thinking that every time she is around something is put on my head. 5 minutes later - this happens... Candor is actually not mad about this hat as he thinks GUB always wears the coolest hats and wants to be just like him!

Cowboy Breakfast

This morning was the Cowboy Breakfast in Austin!  The Cowboy Breakfast includes breakfast tacos, catfish toes, sausage wraps, biscuits and gravy, coffee, hot chocolate, live music, and face painting. All of this for free!  Candor was dying to go experience his first Cowboy Breakfast and Todd and I were dying to go for a run so we set our alarm to go off at 4AM this morning. Since we had to get up so early this morning, Candor, of course, decided he wanted to stay up late last night.  We rocked, we sang, we put him in his crib, his swing, and finally we decided to put him in our bed. 5 minutes after he got in bed with us all I could hear was continuous snores.  Loud snores from Todd and baby snores from Candor.  It's tough living with 2 men in the house.  When the alarm went off at 4 this is what Candor looked liked.  Why can't he look so sweet and asleep at night?!?! He is thinking... 'Momma - It's 4AM!  Why am I up and stuffed...
