Town Lake Trail and a Buggy!

Before Candor was born Todd and I would always go to the Town Lake trail and run together.  Since Candor has been born we have had to take turns.  One will run while the other one stays home and watches the boy.  Candor is now old/strong enough to be in the running stroller so we can all three go!  We went this past Sunday for the first time.  It was soooooo much fun!  Candor had fun for about 10 minutes and then he passed out. The weather was so amazing (70's in mid January!?!?) people were even out playing water polo in the lake. After our run Todd snacked on a banana and decided to give Candor a nibble.  I'm happy to report he seemed to like it.   We stopped by Whole Foods on the way home to pick up a few groceries.  We did not want to bring in the huge running stroller so we decided to try put Candor in the buggy for the first time.  He loved it for 5 minutes, but then he started wailing.  Next time ...

Spanish Gold - South of Nowhere

Florio came over tonight for dinner, to give Candor his favorite album of 2014, and to kick our tails at Scrabble!  Yes you read that right....he kicked our tails at Scrabble!!  What the what?!?! He said that his good looks sometimes fooled people into thinking he cannot spell. Candor loved his album and he cannot wait to listen to it. I also FINALLY gave Florio his GP hat from Poppy!

Books and Babies Galore

Books and Babies has finally started back after a month break for the holidays.  Since the weather is cold and we can't stay go on our normal walks we went twice this week.  The last time we went to Books and Babies (December 1) Candor could only lay on his back during play time.  This week he was on his stomach!  He absolutely loved it.  He laughed and smiled at all the other little ones.  Pretty soon he will be crawling around playing.

Sweet Potatoes

Bananas are so yesterday.  Today - it is sweet potatoes!  Candor thought the sweet potatoes were meh, but he loved his bowl!

Congrats Uncle Paulie!

Uncle Paulie completed Bandera this weekend and came in second - which is a really big deal!  We went to the Peach Tortilla to celebrate.  The food was amazing...Candor was not.  He did not want to hang in his car seat.  He wanted to sit with the big people. Who could blame him though!

Bananas Take 2

With a little persuasion from Todd, Candor decided to give bananas another try.  He did not like them, however, he was not as disgusted this time.  Baby steps.... Candor also used a sippy cup for the first time.  He is a fan of water.

Can't Stop Me!

Todd dressed Candor the other morning.  I'm not sure who was more proud of the outfit.
