Merry Christmas and Happy 2016!

We had an amazing Christmas.  We were lucky to have everyone come to our house this year!  Nana, Poppy, AK, Aunt Joy, GUB, G, PaPa, Uncle Travis, Aunt Molly, and even Santa came!

Candor was spoiled with lots of activities, presents and hugs.  He wishes Christmas was everyday!

Our neighborhood places luminaries up and down one of the main streets.  Each night the neighbors go out and light the lights.  We were able to make it out and join one night.

Our church had a Christmas Eve service. It was so much fun having all our family at church with us.  Below is Candor and I during the children's service.

Todd and PaPa putting together the red wagon that Aunt Joy and GUB got Candor for Christmas.

I had a fit to get Candor this electronic jeep for Christmas.  Even though the jeep's age limit is 3+ I thought this was the perfect gift for Candor at 17 months...you know - because he is so advanced and all. Ha.  I ordered it and was so excited when it came in.  Papa, Travis and I spent about 77 hours putting it together (the instructions were awful - it was not us).  I was so excited for Candor to see it Christmas morning.  Well.....he hated it.  I have never seen him despise something so much.  The car is loud and kind of jerks when it starts moving. Anytime he would get near it he would cry.  Maybe he will like it when he is 3 or 10.  Sigh....

Candor laying out milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

Candor telling everyone to get out of the house!  He is ready to go to bed so SANTA CAN COME!!

Todd and I finally finished laying out all of the gifts for Candor from Santa.

We made everyone come over around 6 on Christmas morning so they could see Candor open his presents....  At about 7 Candor was still snoozing away.  Why doesn't he sleep like this every morning!

We finally had to wake him up!  Todd is getting him all pretty to go see what Santa brought him.

We used Cecil and MiMi's (Todd's grandfather/grandmother) wedding china for Christmas dinner.

GUB talking about 'Fahtcholla'!

OMG A YOGA MAT!!  Maybe I'll lay on it and play my video games.

We had such a busy time over Christmas break we really just wanted to take it easy for New Years Eve.  We jumped on the couch cushions and watched the ball drop on TV.

Goodnight 2015.

Hello 2016!

23 Months! (Townes)

My little man is now 23 months old! He is so happy, sweet and funny!  His days are spent laughing and smiling...with only a few tears thrown in there every once in awhile. His new favorite loves this month are dandelions and helping me do things. Townes can spot a dandelion from a mile away and insists on grabbing every single one of them. He also insists on helping me do everything.  Some things take a bit longer to do with Townes helping but I'll take them taking out the trash everyday! His favorite foods is still tacos.  He gets fired up anytime we mention tacos and starts chanting....'TACOS! TACOS!'. He loves soccer balls.  One day he had a fit to try on one of Candor's soccer uniforms.  I have never in my life seen anyone so proud.  He was glowing and thought he was so cool like his big bro. Todd ordered them both a new Liverpool kit which was also Townes first soccer kit of...

15 Months! (Candor)

Candor man is now 15 Months old!  He is a bundle of energy and never stops.  He has two speeds... 0mph (asleep) and 100mph (ALL other times). He has become a super funny little guy.  On the daily information sheets I get after school silly is always circled.  Mrs. Maggie and Mrs. Lauris says he really cuts up during nap time.  When everyone is 'suppose' to be napping Candor will get off his mat,  go over to the ladies (the little girls in the class),  squat down, and whisper "hey hey" so they will get up and play with him.  This Tuesday there was a new little friend in class named Miles.  Mrs. Maggie and Mrs. Lauris said that Miles and Candor did downward dog and giggled at each other all during nap time. His teachers think he is hilarious now but I bet the older he gets the less funny he will be.  He better enjoy it now!

Those Cheeks!

We went to Maria's Taco Express for breakfast today....at noon. Late start to the day. Candor was cutting up a bit in his car seat so Todd picked him up. After a few minutes of laughing he passed out on Todd's shoulder.
