Candor goes to Townes

Candor would like to apologize as he has really been putting his foot in his mouth lately.

I am beyond excited to announce we now have an Elf on the Shelf! Many moons ago I bought Addison and Alyssa their elf and Dewana surprised Candor this year by buying him an elf. Addison and Alyssa named their elf Eric after one of Blake's friends who passed away. Todd decided we should name our elf Cire which is Eric spelled backwards. Who better to look after Candor during the holiday season than his new buddy Cire.

We went to Maria's Taco Express for breakfast today....at noon. Late start to the day. Candor was cutting up a bit in his car seat so Todd picked him up. After a few minutes of laughing he passed out on Todd's shoulder.

Candor visited Santa for the first time on Wednesday.  I was kind of hoping for a crying pic of him and Santa because those are hilarious.  Instead - Candor was very nonchalant as usual.

Tonight Candor and I cooked chicken tortilla soup for supper. After cooking we had several hours to waste until Todd got home so we opened a cantina! Candor thinks his stache puts Arby's to shame. I have to agree.

I asked Todd to get Candor ready for bath time and this is what happened.

Dr. D. pretty much insisted that I start giving Candor a bit of rice cereal to get him use to food and eating from a spoon.  For some reason I was hesitant as I like him only depending on me for food ( I never thought I would say that).  Anyway - Todd and I gave Candor his first bit of rice cereal diluted with breast milk tonight.  Dr. D. told us not to worry if Candor refuses to eat of if he likes it one day and the next not so much.  I get why he said that now. After he 'ate' we stripped him and put him in his bumbo.  He loves being in the nude.
